Group Creation

Welcome to Altlife.Group, where paid members, approved businesses, organizations, and educators have the opportunity to create local groups for a variety of networking and social reasons.

When creating a group, you will be required to agree to our Groups and Events Policyand ensure that yourself, any group admins, and group members continue to comply with the Altlife Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Social Standards. This is to maintain a safe and respectful community for all members.

Every new group created is approved by our moderation team. This process is in place to ensure that:

• Groups are not duplicated (for example, having multiple groups for "Vancouver Kite Flying Enthusiasts").
• Groups are not created for purposes that violate our Groups Policy, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy or Social Standards.

To ensure a quick approval process, it's important to provide a clear description about the group and its purpose. If needed, our moderator team may ask you for more information about your group before approving it.

In addition, you can also choose the privacy of your group. Whether you want it to be Public, Private or Restricted, please be aware that even Private or Restricted Groups are still moderated by our team to ensure compliance with the site policies, ensure safety and compliance.
