Membership Payment Policy

General Information

Members of Altlife.Community are bound and agree to abide by the Terms of Service and Social Standards and other policies in place from time to time and such policies form part of their obligations and agreement when registering to Altlife.Community and when becomining a paid member. 

Subscriptions and Payments

Users on signup will be on a read only access until ID verification is undertaken. Once ID verification has occurred, users will be given 7day free trial to our Community and Connections Membership, afterthetrial ends they can then choose their membership type eg: Free or Paid Member.

When the User subscribes to a Paid Membership Plan they agree and accept these general Terms & Conditions.

By placing a subscription or payment through Altlife.Community you confirm that:

1. You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and
2. You are at least 18 years old. 

The subscription plan (other than lifetime membership) to our Services consists of a recurring payment feature and you accept responsibility for all charges prior to cancellation.

You can manage subscriptions, including cancelling and requesting refunds through the Manage Subscription portal. However, to change your payment method you will need to do this through the payment method you made eg: Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay etc Altlife.Community cannot alter or cancel this for you - we can only cancel and refund subscriptions.

NOTE: You MUST cancel your subscription in order to cancel re-occuring payments with stripe 

SUBSCRIPTIONS

By subscribing to our Services you are agreeing to pay recurring periodic subscriptions for an indefinite time until cancelled by you. You can cancel your subscription at any time. You will not be charged for any cancellation. You can re-subscribe at any time following your cancellation, but we reserve the right not to permit re-subscription where we believe the subscription is being used fruadulently (eg: to access free trials only) or where a user has canceled and received a refund, or the user has been restricted for breaches of our terms and policies.

Additionally, we reserve the right at our absolute discretion not to renew your subscription at any time without giving any reasons for our decision.

The price of the Products will be as quoted on our site from time to time, except in cases of obvious error. Prices are inclusive of any relevant Tax.

Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will ot affect the amount already paid, and will on affect future payments. Original prices are not guaranteed if you cancel your subscription and re-subscribe. Any questions regarding billing, fees or payments can be addressed with us in the first instance by contacting us at admin@altlife.community if the issue is with the payment provider you used you will need to contact them directly: Stripe, Google Play, Apple Pay etc

Subscription/Membership Types

There are 3 membership types available, pricing is subject to change. All pricing is in USD. Access to freatures is subject to change and at the complete discretion of Altlife Community. 

Free membership: This provides members access to most features, eg: commenting in forums, joining groups, responding to events and chatting with friends. However, free members cannot create groups, new forum topics, don't have access to our connections features, or write blogs. 

Streamer Membership: (currently $4 p/month) which is a free member account with live streamining capabilities. 

Community and connections membership:  (currently $60USD p/y) This is our full membership option, which provides access to both community features as well as our connections features which includes phone/video chatting, searching for users near-by and profile matchmaking. 

Lifetime Membership: There is an option for lifetime Membership ($250USD) and provides user with Community and connections membership for lifetime. Lifetime means for the lifetime of the user, or for the lifetime of their account (ending when it is deactivated or deleted either by the user or by us because of breaches of the Terms and policies), or the lifetime of the website/platform, whichever occurs first.

These subscriptions do not preclude any other subscription options being created, with the platform, or any associated platform. 

Discount offers 

Discount offers for our membership subscriptions are only for the first payment. They are not for subsequent reoccurring payments after the initial discount has been applied to the subscription.

Any offers referring to discount for the frst year of membership ONLY applies when you purchase a yearly subscription (either Community or our Community and Connections Membership)

Refunds are not given for discounted membership.

Subscriptions including discounts are only available after a users has joined and verified their profile. 

Businessess and Organisations Profiles

Businesses and Organisation can create profiles on Altlife.Community, and will have access to certain features and restricted from other features, such as connections features. 

Businesses and Organisations cannot pay for a membership subscription. 

Refund Policy

Alt Life Community will issue a refund within 72 hours of an initial subscription provided that none of the Services have been utilised. Beyond these conditions, requests for refunds will be at the sole discretion of Alt Life Community and will be reviewed on a member to member basis.

Alt Life Community reserves the right to refuse refund if membership or account has been deactivated, banned or restricted for misuse of the services or for breaches of Terms of Service, Social Standards or other policies.

Other Payments made by users

Other payments can be made for other features of the site, such as premium stickers, courses, documents etc. These are made through the sites payment gateway. Refunds for these payments will solely be at the discretion of Altlife Community as these purchases are for electronic goods that cannot be removed. 

Please note that payments made for e-learning courses, products sold by businesses, educators or content creators are the responsibility of the Seller. Alt Life Community has limited liability for disputes arising between users and sellers/businesses on the site.

Any questions or disputes regarding billing, fees, payments or refunds regarding E-courses or Marketplace purchases should be addressed to the provider in the first instance.
