Lets create a thread about redflag websites relating to BDSM and kink. The same way those in the community talk about individuals who are consent violators, abusers etc we should be talking about websites that damage the image of the community and lifestyle.
If you come across websites that could be concerning please provide information in this thread eg: the website and why it demonstrates redlfags.
For example websites that:
- Provides bad or incorrect educational information regarding BDSM/Kink
- False advertising in regards to what it offers compared to what it actually does offer
- Asks for money without any information eg: can't view the site or any information about the site without first paying (hard paywall), no business details,
- no proper policies around privacy
- no ability to contact the owner or remove your information from the site
- Predatory/grooming behaviour
There are a lot of great resources and websites out there, and we have listed a few in our recommended links (in the altlife.education drop down), but there is also a range of very bad and concerning sites out there.
