Gender, Sexual and Relationship Diveristy (GSRD)

The term GSRD is among the many alternative terms to describe gender sexual and relationship diversity. Acronyms like GSRD stand for alternative ways to include LGBT+ people in conversation.

This paper goes through and explains GSRD and how it is now being adopted in inclusive therapy practices.

I just wish the acronym GSRD was not so close to the acronym GERD. I will forever be conflating the two.

There was a great piegraph-infopoc I saw on IG about GSRD it was concise and brilliant but I forgot to save the post to read more before IG updated the feed and it disappeared 😞

I think GSRD/GSRM is mainly used in therapy as it's more inclusive and overaching then LGBTIQ+

Yes I sometimes see 2S at the beginning as well. And I think your observation about it being clinical is why it's being adopted more in the therapy sphere than general public at the moment. But I have noticed some companies and NFPs starting to use it more recently as well.

I wish I had saved the infograph I saw in IG. It was really good at explaining it all. Grrrrr

No it was circular and had slices. Each slice had a heading and then examples underneath it in the middle it read GSRD Carousel. There were about 12 or so slices. One heading was gender and underneath had Genderfluid/non-binary, man, women or something similar. I was reading it when IG refreshed and I didn't save the post grrrr
