We have a lot of new members on the site.
So I thought a forum post as a reminder on what verified members can do would be helpful.
1. Create groups.
We set up a few groups as a starting point for users to join, but users can create a group (paid members can create more than 1).
Whether it's a private one just for them and their friends on the site, or one for their local area, or a public group for gaming etc.
2. Create Events
Verified users can create events. So if you know of an event that people might be interested in. Pop it up in the Events with links and details.
3. Invite Friends
We have dedicated area to help you invite your friends. Which also allows you to give them a unique link so when they register they are your friend on here automatically.
4. Send us feedback
While 2023 we are focused on developing an app, sending us feedback either in our discord channel or direct via email: admin@altlife.community is always welcome. We have a running list of suggestions and ideas.
While we can't action these immediately (money doesn't grow on trees), we do take on all feedback so that when we have the resources we can improve the site.
5. Report content/inappropriate behaviour etc
We have a robust reporting system. So as the site grows and more and more content is created and more users are active, we accept that some things might slip through.
If you see NSFW content that is posted in public space, racism, hate speech, inappropriate behaviour then report it!
Have an issue with a user, yes you can block them, but we also request you report them as well.
To make sure we can keep the site safe, we need to be told about problem content and users.
6. Earn credits
We will start adding things to the site that you can use credits for.
The more active you are on here the more credits you can earn. Spend them on special items we put on the site or save them up to earn lifetime membership.
Keep exploring and using all the features, the more content posted and active you and your friends are, the better the experience.
