Our September newsletter will be out in a couple of weeks. But for those who dont subscribe to our monthly newsletter here is a quick update on what is almost ready to go live on our site:
- Boop/Poke feature is being upgraded: Free members will be able to use this feature (poke only) and our Paid members will then have access to additional actions - including a custome action option. Members will also be able to change the privacy for this feature in their profile information area and choose who can poke/boop you (Everyone, Friends Only or No One) - this will provide an element of consent.
- Altlife.Credits: We will be adding a credits feature on the site which will reward members who are active in creating and posting content and engaging. You will be able to earn credits for different actions you take on the site from posting blogs, poking others and inviting friends etc. As part of this, you will be able to use credits to purchase items on the site such as stickers to use on your posts, enter site contests or gifts to send to other users (the gifts feature will be extended to free members as well) - we will be adding more features that you can use credits for in the future. There will be credit rankings and top users, as well as the option to send credits to friends - Most importantly, you can save up credits to purchase Lifetime Membership.
- Contests: This is a new feature we are adding to the site. We will look at running free and paid contests to the site. Site contests will be used to allow our creative community the opportunity to be recognised for it - awards, credit winnings and even memberships will be up for grabs. This will also be extended to our Businesses on the site to be used to run promotional contests to win products or services.
- Quizzes: We also are upgrading our quizzes to be integrated feature of the platform - more information about this will be forcoming.
- Other updates: We have added some additonal safety features such as reporting for DM's to admin, profile information changes and changes to business profiles to keep everything nice and clean and neat and relevent.
We still have a long list of features we have on our list to create and upgrade for the site and we are slowly working through these:
- Connections/dating area
- Chatrooms
- E-Learning
- Games Portal
- Marketplace
